Custom Guitar Truss Rod Covers
One of the best parts of your guitar to upgrade and customize is the truss rod cover. The reason for this is that it is a simple and cheap customization that you can do yourslef, and it can actually improve the appearance of your guitar quite a bit.
Most guitar makers choose the truss rod cover to put their brand names and model numbers. Instead of having this information listed there, a sure sign of a mass produced guitar, getting a new truss rod cover could give your instrument a much more custom and handmade look.
Personally, I would look for some custom wooden truss rod covers to replace the existing one on your guitar. Wood always give the guitar a more classy look, and compared to metal and plastic, it can even improve the sound quality of the instrument. It may be unnoticeable because the truss rod cover is not really a crucial piece, but its there.
Most people who play the guitar do not realize how many easy modifications there are available for the instrument that take little effort and do not cost much either. You might as well make your guitar as nice as possible, and by customizing it, you might even increase its value and be able to sell it for more money if you come to that choice.
